We have got word that our cds our in the final stages of manufacturing! We cannot wait to share our album with you. Make sure to mark December 6th on your calendars because it's going to be an awesome night. I know y'all don't want to miss the cd release party. So tell everybody that you can possibly think of to come out. You guys are the best...seriously!!

We have just sent the album away to be mastered. Do you know what that means? Well it means that in a few short weeks we will have the album completed!!! Seriously this time...
The only thing left after mastering is manufacturing!! We are so very excited to so be sharing something that we are so proud of. We will keep you all updated!!!

Hello hello. It has been a very exciting week for j&a. We are making a lot of progress on the album. Wednesday Gaby Moreno came in to the studio to add her vocals to the song "Safe". It was so much fun to have her energy there and we are so grateful that she decided to do this song with us. Check her original stuff out at www.myspace.com/gabymoreno
We are going to shoot our album photos this coming Monday (1-28-08). To prepare for this we have enlisted the help of a wonderful woman named Cassie. She is helping us with our wardrobe. Yesterday (1-24-08) we met up with her at the Beverly Center and did a little shopping. Abby and I have very different styles and Cassie is helping us to figure out how we can be ourselves but not so opposite.

There is some live performances of "Lightweight" and "Safe" plus a tour of ElDorado Recording Studios in Burbank (owned by Rob and Teri Strickland) which is where we are recording our album.
This has been such a productive time for us and we appreciate all the support that you all have given us.

Yeah! Abby was on the series premier of "The Nine" on ABC. She will also be in the second episode. Look for the girl who says something about Taco Tuesday! If you didn't get a chance to watch/tivo it I would highly recommend checking it out. I liked it and I hate TV.

Happy 25th Jen!!!

Well, Abby and I have tried our hand at recording again and to be honest...it has been a fantastic experience so far. We went in and in 4 hours we were able to churn out four songs. We decided to do "Enjoy the View", "Be Still My Dear", "Lightweight", and "Collide". Our main engineer is Peter Mullen and his partner in crime is Joel Guleserian. There was a lot of joking around, a lot of laughing, but we got so much accomplished. Hopefully the mixing and mastering will be just as fun and exciting. We will definitely keep you posted on the whole process!!

On May 7th we will have the honor of playing at an APLA benefit. This organization is doing incredible work to help people living with Aids.

There is a good chance that you will get to see/hear us on the season finale of the Gilmore Girls. It airs May 9th on the WB. If we don't get cut (fingers crossed) we will probably be in the last scene. Hopefully our song "Collide" will be heard as well. This was such a great opportunity for us!
